Please welcome new members, Margie and Randy Phillips! Margie, a retired real estate agent, and Randy, a retired hospital administrator, have been married for 46 years and have 3 adult children. Both are Alabama natives but have lived in several other states. They are dog lovers and have two of their own, Nancy and Robin.
Margie's mom could make anything, and her favorite piece of clothing now is a plaid taffeta Christmas skirt sewn by her mother. Margie managed to acquire her own set of sewing skills and loves to hem clothes the old fashioned way—with a needle and thread.
Randy says one job he would be really bad at would be changing the beacon light on top of the Empire State Building—I'm guessing a fear of heights may be to blame! Randy would turn making an ambitious to-do list into an Olympic sport and guesses he'd win a silver medal. People come to him for all kinds of wisdom and advice, so maybe he can add giving some good advice to his next Olympic list.
Welcome this new couple into our church family!
